GM enters honey supplies!

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

The Dervaes site had a heads up today about GM entering honey supplies, full details can be found here. When will something be done about these GM crops? Monsanto not content with GM Soy, GM corn and buying out lots of seed companies (giving us less choice) is now responsible for GM entering the honey industry.

Basically honey bees are feeding on GM crops, and transferring it to the hive, and creating honey 'infected' with GM materials. The study shows that "coexistence of conventional and GM agriculture is impossible" as much as humans like to think they are god we cannot fight nature! GM crops, despite Monstanto's claims of "terminator seeds"and being "safe", WILL enter the food chain where it is not wanted. This has ALREADY been proven with GM crops contaminating conventional crops. The kicker is Monsanto WON the court case in that instance! It's crazy! The politicians and beaurocrats are so heavy in Monstanto's pockets the will, choice and safety of us regular folk just doesn't seem to matter anymore!

How long before GM is in OUR home gardens? How long before Monstanto comes after us? How long do we have to wait for the US government to take action?
How long till we get back to farming the way nature intended? How long do we have to wait for change?
